Dear Homeowners,
As 2026 comes to a close, the Bentley Woods Homeowners Association (BWHOA) would like to
take this opportunity to invite you to attend the end of year meeting at the Orange County Library,
1211 E. Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL, 32703, on Saturday, November 14, 2026 from 1 to
2:30 p.m. We would like all our homeowners to attend, especially our new neighbors!
We would like to ask for nominations of our neighbors to serve on the Bentley Woods Board of
Directors (BWBOD). This is a great way to make a positive impact in our immediate community.
As a board member you will help with the vision of Bentley Woods and connect with your
neighbors. All positions are open for nominations.
PRESIDENT – The President attends all meetings, sees that orders and resolutions of the Board are carried out, sign all documents (legal or Board drafted and may co-sign all checks).
FIRST AND SECOND VICE PRESIDENTS – The 1st VP acts in the place of the president in the event of his/her absence or inability or refusal to act, and exercise and discharge such other duties as may be required of the President by the Board. The 2nd VP assists the 1st VP.
SECRETARY – The Secretary records the votes and keeps the minutes of all meetings and proceedings of the Board and of the members, serves notice of all meetings of the Board and keeps appropriate current records showing the members of the Association together with their addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. The Secretary will also perform other duties required by the Board.
TREASURER – The Treasurer will collect, receive and deposit into the appropriate bank account all monies of the HOA and disburse funds as directed by resolution of the Board of Directors and sign all checks written by the HOA. The Treasurer will oversee the HOA’s accounts receivable, accounts payable, the completion of each fiscal year report thereof which is maintained and managed by the HOA’s professional bookkeeping and accounting firm. The Treasurer will provide the statement of income and expenditures to all homeowners at the annual meeting.
The BWHOA will be holding elections for the 2027 Calendar Year at our annual meeting on January 23rd, 2027. Time to be announced on a later date.
