People of Wekiwa Springs (POWS) is an organization of the greater community for the surrounding neighborhoods. They have monthly meetings, and Bentley Woods was represented at the 04/08/25 meeting at the Wekiwa Springs Baptist Church.
The highlights of the meeting were:
- May 13, 2025 – next POWS meeting will showcase how HOAs can apply for grant money to improve their communities.
- May 31, 2025 – is a celebration of the Grand Reopening of the Apopka Trail Bridge over HWY 441.
- Septic2Sewer Update
- Bentley Woods is in Phase 5B and is tentatively scheduled to have construction bidding in November 2025 with construction to start approximately Spring 2026.
- A license agreement and a plumbing permit form will be mailed to all homeowners as the construction time nears. Forms will be mailed by Orange County, and a special meeting will be set up at Clay Springs Elementary School to have the forms notarized to make it easy for homeowners.
